SIW is honored to have collaborated with students from the CvE251 Material Testing course of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Srinakharinwirot University, on November 18, 2025, under the academic cooperation as outlined in the MOU.During this lecture, the company shared in-depth knowledge about prestressed concrete structures, the production process of steel wires used in construction, and quality control and testing systems in real-world industry applications. The aim was to give students a comprehensive understanding that combines both theoretical and practical perspectives. Additionally, a demonstration of the steel wire tension test was held in the university's laboratory to provide students with hands-on experience outside the classroom.We would like to express our sincere thanks to the course instructors, Assoc. Prof. Acting Maj. Ittiporn Sirisawat (Ph.D.), Assoc. Prof.Panuwat Joyklad (Ph.D.), and Assoc. On "World Environment Day," the Siam Industrial Wire organized an activity to distribute pesticide-free vegetable seedlings from the 1 Rai Farm to employees and subcontracted workers for them to plant and use in cooking. These vegetable crops can be harvested in a short period of time. Additionally, this initiative helps reduce household expenses and can be adapted and expanded to improve livelihoods. Moreover, it promotes income generation and daily health care.

SIW Promotes Learning Beyond the Classroom and Its Practical Application in Civil EngineeringOn September 9, Siam Industrial Wire Co., Ltd. (SIW) had the opportunity to share knowledge with civil engineering students at Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus, as part of the “SIW Civil Engineering Day.”During the activity, students learned about PC Wire and PC Strand—from their properties and testing processes to their practical applications in construction and infrastructure projects.SIW hopes that this knowledge-sharing session provided students with new perspectives, helped connect classroom knowledge with real-world industry practices, and contributed to preparing them to become skilled engineers in the future.We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Asst.
