On 22 February 2024 , SIW welcomed faculty members and civil engineering students from Burapha University to visit factory and tour the production process, quality control, and research and development of high-strength prestressed wires (PC Wire, PC Strand) to emphasize the understanding and importance of prestressed wires to the construction industry.

SIW Seminar: The Future of Sustainable Construction – Connecting Innovation with SustainabilityA knowledge-sharing platform bringing together ideas, insights, and experiences to collectively drive the construction and prestressed concrete industry toward a more sustainable future. The seminar featured distinguished speakers from various sectors, covering key perspectives including:- Thailand’s economic outlook and future government policiesby Dr. Nonarit Bisonyabut, Research Fellow of Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI)- Preparing the construction industry for the transition to the BIM eraby Dr. Athasit Sirisonthi, Advisor to the Subcommittee of the Engineering Institute of Thailand (EIT)- Safety standards, challenges, and opportunities for prestressed concrete in modern constructionby Prof. Dr. Amorn Pimanmas, President of Thailand Structural Engineers Association (TSEA)The event also provided an open forum for discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaboration between representatives from the private sector and government agencies. In addition, SIW was honored by the presence of guests from the Engineering Institute of Thailand, the Department of Highways, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Bureau of Bridge Construction Department of Rural Roads, and Thailand Structural Engineers Association, who actively shared valuable perspectives and experiences contributing to the advancement of the construction industry. SIW was delighted to welcome the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (Rayong Campus), to participate in the SIW Open House: Take the First Step Towards the World of Industry on 24 July 2026 at Siam Industrial Wire Co., Ltd., Rayong, Thailand. 🏭During the visit, students had the opportunity to gain firsthand experience of SIW's manufacturing operations, including the production process, Quality Control (QC) procedures, and the R&D Innovation Center. The visit provided valuable insights into real industrial practices, helping students strengthen their technical knowledge and bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical applications. 👨🏻‍🎓👩🏻‍🎓🤝 SIW would like to express its sincere appreciation to:- Dr. Patcharin Naemchanthara, and- Asst. SIW Promotes Learning Beyond the Classroom and Its Practical Application in Civil EngineeringOn September 9, Siam Industrial Wire Co., Ltd. (SIW) had the opportunity to share knowledge with civil engineering students at Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus, as part of the “SIW Civil Engineering Day.”During the activity, students learned about PC Wire and PC Strand—from their properties and testing processes to their practical applications in construction and infrastructure projects.SIW hopes that this knowledge-sharing session provided students with new perspectives, helped connect classroom knowledge with real-world industry practices, and contributed to preparing them to become skilled engineers in the future.We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Asst. Prof. Dr. Penpitcha Sanit-in for her kind support, coordination, and for giving SIW the opportunity to share our knowledge with the students.
