On 5 June 2024, SIW organized World Environment Day. In order to encourage employees to be aware and alert to the environmental crisis that continues to occur according to the concept of “Our Land Our Future”. In activities, organized to plant trees within the factory and distributed trees to employees to plant at home to increase green space. Because increasing green space will help absorb carbon dioxide and conserve biodiversity to accord with ESG frame work that emphasizes the importance of business operations consider environmental impacts.

The EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is currently in its transitional phase.Businesses exporting to the European Union must be prepared and comply with these 5 key steps:1. CHECK: If goods you import are listed in Annex I to the CBAM Regulation and GET IN TOUCH with the National CBAM Competent Authority (NCA) in the country where you are established.2. REGISTER: Register through your NCA for the CBAM transitional registry where you or your representative will upload quarterly reports on emissions embedded in imported goods.3. ENSURE: Ensure your trading partners outside the EU are aware of the detailed guidance provided by the European Commission on the goods in scope and how to calculate embedded emissions.4. FOLLOW: The general and sector-specific training material and modules made available by the European Commission to make sure you know what to expect from the new reporting rules & tools.5. On 19 February 2024, SIW organized a competition to waste upcycle materials from the community into new products under the "Upcycling from the Heart" project in Nong Lalok Subdistrict. The objective is to provide opportunities for the community to increase value and create works from recycled materials for the benefit of raising awareness, promoting community involvement in managing and addressing environmental issues.

The National Competent Authorities (NCAs) of each EU Member State oversee access to the CBAM Transitional Registry,enabling reporting entities to submit their CBAM reports.However, importers cannot register by themselves. Registration must be done through the National Competent Authority (NCA) of the country where your company is located Simple steps:1. Contact the NCA in your EU country2. Request registration for the CBAM Registry3. Wait for approval, then log in to the system4. As we have put our priority on doing activities to reduce the impact on the lives of those in our business partners infected with and affected by COVID-19, we have provided them our care under the “SIW We Care” project. SIW and TSN Wire Give New Life to Reusable Items, Nurture Mangrove Saplings, and Release Mud Crabs to Restore Forests and Coastal Communities On June 27, 2025, SIW and TSN Wire jointly organized the activity “Giving Reusables a Second Life, Growing Trees for the Forest” to promote responsible resource use and support long-term environmental restoration. The event featured two main activities: • Donation of reusable items such as clothes, toys, books, electronics, and other usable goods contributed by employees. These items were donated to the Suan Kaew Foundation through the project “3R 3Uses – If You Don’t Use It, We Will,” held at the Environmental Learning Center at Phra Chedi Klang Nam, Rayong Province. • Mangrove sapling propagation and mud crab release in collaboration with the Rayong River and Mangrove Ecosystem Restoration Community Enterprise, at the Mangrove Ecosystem Learning Center – a vital coastal resource recovery site in Rayong Province. This initiative reflects not only the value of conscious resource use but also environmental stewardship—giving back to the forests and seas. Because we believe that great change begins with small, meaningful actions. We are proud to play a part in driving society and the environment toward a sustainable future—handing down a livable world to future generations, and nurturing a community that grows in harmony with nature.
