During the transitional period, exporters of iron and steel to the EU need to prepare the following information for quarterly reporting:
1. Quantity of Goods: Quantity of iron and steel goods imported into the EU during the previous quarter
2. Carbon Price: Price paid in the country of origin, including information on rebates or compensation
3. Direct CO₂ Emissions: Direct CO₂ emissions embedded in the production of imported goods, reported in Tonnes (metric) of CO2e
4. Indirect CO₂ Emissions: Electricity consumed, with stated origin, in the production of those goods, reported in MWh.
